Northern municipalities mayors say Serbian nationalist groups are pushing for tension

Kosovo police stepped up security measures by increasing the number of police members in the four northern municipalities.

But according to North Mitrovica's mayor, Nexhat Ugljanin in the north continues to have nationalist Serb groups trying to raise tensions.
