Three years and two months in prison for those accused of involvement in terrorist group “Al Nusra”

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has declared the condemnation of accused Osman Kastrati, condemning him to three years and two months in prison for organisation and participation in the terrorist group “Al Nusra”

Aktgjykm was proclaimed Thursday by Judge Kujtim Krasniqi, reports “The Justice Trust”.

Similarly, the accused Kastrati had reached agreement with guilty prosecution, where a sentence of between three and three and a half years had been proposed.

The agreement in question, accused Kastrati, has declared that he has accepted it without pressure and his own free will, and has also said he has repented of what he has done.

According to the Special Prosecutor's Act of the Republic of Kosovo, Osman Kastrati was charged that from January 26, 2013, he has participated in the activities of the terrorist group. Al Nusraʹ in the country of Syria, joining this organization on January 26, 2013.

Always according to the indictment, Kastracti has travelled from Pristina Airport to Istanbul in Turkey, where from there with some other unidentified people so far, has moved to Syria's territory, and has joined the terrorist organisation Al Nusraú, members of which the accused had assigned concrete operational duties to the territory called justly located near the city of Damascus, and the same have equipped with automatic weapons of the AK-47 and ammunition, in order to undertake actions required by the leaders of this organisation.

With that, Kastrati was accused of committing criminal work “Organising and participation in terrorist group” by Article 143, par. Two of the Penal Code. /Betimy for Justice
