The Mitrovica municipality has announced the death of academic Miner Dushi, saying it was the first Albanian engineer and a prominent figure in the field of minerals.
The municipality has written on Monday Facebook that Dushi was founder of the high technical school in Mitrovica and director in Trepca.
With deep grief, we received news of the life-sharing of the academic Minor Dusi, the first Albanian engineer and a prominent figure in the field of minerals. Dushi was a known and honorable personality, founder of the high technical school in Mitrovica, director in Trepca and the first Albanian engineer, who left a valuable legacy in the development of industry and science”, the report said.
The municipality will host homazhe on Tuesday at the Culture Centre “Rexep Mitrovica”.
