Minister Peci allocates 300 thousand euros for nongovernmental organisations, didn't even have it on MBPZHRA work plan

In fact, the Peci Ministry has twice divided financial means for several similar NGOs.







For these divisions, Pec is also emerging to have violated the regulation for public financing procedures of NGOs.

The regulator has determined that in the event public support for NGOs is not included in the budget, as well as not specifically identified as supporting NGO projects and programmes, the institution has no right to provide financial support to NGOs. Therefore, special budgetary lines, clearly identified, are necessary to show that the amount of budgetary division is dedicated to public financial support for NGO projects and programmes. Establishment of specific budgetary lines on which public financial support is identified for NGOs in addition to helping increase transparency in terms of accessed funds for civil society, will also enable a easier management of public financial support for NGOs”.
