In a Facebook post, as he told of meetings in Davos, Lajcak says dialogue is more crucial than ever in today's world.

This week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, I had the opportunity to engage with leaders, colleagues and friends for some of the most urgent issues of our time, including geopolitical stability and economic development. After a week of stimulating discussions, it is clear that dialogue is more crucial than ever in today's”.
I also met with leaders from the Balkans and participated in the traditional Diplomacy Dialogue for the region. In my intervention, I stressed that the EU is serious about expanding the Union, but this will not happen as pre-election, and I urged the region to stay in the course.
