Berisha has been elected the new chairman of the Independent Media Commission (KPM), with four votes from members. He was elected illegal, since the current president, Memeti, had a mandate for several days. Berisha is known for lynching language to media leaders. He also criticised former US family in Kosovo, Richard Green.
Berisha was elected today by four votes as leader of the KPM. Most interpreted this as an attempt to capture the Independent Media Commission at the time the election campaign is under way, reports Insander.
Like the number two of the KPMA was proposed by Luljeta Aliu, who himself proposed the extraordinary meeting to be held for the new chairman's election through an email.
In the email provided by Inseyder, she said that the meeting was invited so that there would be a quorum. One sentence was ridiculous. The one about the flu.
“After a discussion we had with colleague Besnik Berisha and Fitim Veliu we came to the conclusion that the election of the new leadership must take place before the KPM remains without a quorum, either a few days before January 20th to ensure that any of us are not going to be with the Rygripı or for other reasons.”, it says among other things in the email it has seen.
Whatever the case, the current chairman, like the proposed vice president, has been seen close to the power of the VVA. Berisha has even been reluctant to link the media.
“The savagery with which VV's is attacked by several antrists is caused by fear of losing the state crib”, Berisha wrote in a post of January 25th, 2021, quoting Kim Mehmet.

Another long writing, published on February 9, 2021, days before the February 14th elections, he indirectly called for Albin Kurti's party to be voted on.
“Let us save ourselves and those on February 14 of this evil we can never see from within. The change will take away this state-destructive virus a little bit.”, Berisha wrote.

Berisha had publicly lynched Valon Syla, who occasionally debates the studio on political events.
“Much better had this “Jack Setrin” than Naser Rafuna. The mega-primising of this kind that offends every national value and tries to silence any hope I'm convincing even the small neutral proportion of society that it should support the last chance for substantial change”, Berisha wrote on January 28th of 2021.

Berisha has also received criticism for once the US emissar for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Green. Berisha said his statements would lead up to 80 percent to the elections.
“Richard Greenell and Valon Syla have been able to talk to me until the VV is dropped to 80%” wrote on March 3, 2021, Berisha.
