US KFOR performs patrols north: Saving critical infrastructure ensures Kosovo remains secure for all

Mission NATO in Kosovo, KFOR has announced that there are American soldiers performing patrols on foot today in northern Kosovo.

KFOR said American soldiers assigned to Regional Command in the East conduct patrols regularly, including on the border between Kosovo and Serbia. The mission also mentioned the preservation of critical infrastructure.

“The chairmanship of patrols and the preservation of critical infrastructure ensures Kosovo remains a safe environment for all”.

KFOR said these efforts are part of its daily mission to ensure a safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo.

KFOR reiterated that it works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission to Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
