Albanian MP to Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has sharply criticised Serbia's approach to Kosovo.
He has suggested that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq is trying to downplay the guilt for the genocide committed in Kosovo.
In an interview for Kosovapress, Kamberi has said that Serbian government officials privately know that Kosovo will never again be under their rule.
Aleksandar Vuciq's “is trying to lower the guilt of Serbia having been at war and somehow in processes that exist to be equal to other countries. As far as Kosovo is concerned, I think that in private they know that Kosovo will never again be Serbia, never again will the Serbian church violate Kosovo... But he's trying to get something through this geopolitical game there. And to get out of this situation with one benefit, as they often say one cannot win anything, the other lose everything. But, on the other hand, it cannot come up with concrete attitude for the fact that if it comes up with a concrete request, as often thought to be a north demand, then it says that Vuciq accepts the independence of the rest of Kosovo, and that makes it lower, at the negotiating table, the” market, Kamberi has said.
