The chairman of the United Kosovo Education Union (SBASHK), Nundman Jasharaj, has expressed concern for the education sector, stressing that the union is going into a very bad situation.
Jasharaj says that after the recent protest, they engaged a legal mediator to enable a dialogue with the Ministry of Education in order to review SBASK's demands regarding the collective contract.
We're in a very bad situation. After the last protest, we engaged the legal mediator to establish communication with the Ministry of Education with simple requests according to the Kolektive contract, so SBASK will be represented even in the state legal council as it has always been that things are happening there and we have information”.
According to Jasawar, the legal mediator has yet to receive no answers from the ministry.
He accused the Ministry of Education and Government of lack of commitment and despite union demands, of showing no interest in developing dialogue and improving the educational system.
The mediator has expected a legal deadline and has received no response. The ministry, along with the Government, is against dialogue and does not care for the educational system”, Jasharaj said of “Front Online”.
