The United Education, Science and Culture Union of Kosovo (SBASHK) is paying attention to political party programmes in terms of the education area on the eve of the February 9th elections.
SBASK Chairman Nundman Jasharaj has declared that parties have made big promises that hope to be realised.
There are big promises that arouse enthusiasm, we expect to be realized. I believe that candidates with their teams don't give those promises just to say, because February 9th comes soon and we archive what they say to remind them when they come to power,” said Jasharaj.
He has estimated that most parties have made good estimates and reasonable promises, excluding Vetevendosje Movement.
“Candidat for prime minister from PDK, Bedri Hamza, I am convinced that he has calculated things well with his team, taking into account his previous experience. Likewise, LDK candidate Lumir Abdixhiku and his programme look good. I also believe in the AAK-Nisma coalition,” is expressed.
However, for Vetevendosje Movement and incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Jasharaj has had a different stance.
I didn't mention Kurt because the four years with him have been very difficult. He is loud but does nothing concrete. From our four - year experience, we find it difficult to believe that he will do something if he receives another mandate. With it we have also had a lack of dialogue and have not been impressed positively,” he said.
Education workers in Kosovo have consistently expressed dissatisfaction with their salaries and have often protested their growth. They hope that with the formation of the new government, there will be movement in this direction, as they believe they deserve better financial income.
