The commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Union Jashari, hosted the United Forces Command deputy commander in Naples, Peter K. Scott.
Yasar briefed Scott on the overall security situation in the region and the Republic of Kosovo.
According to a KSF post, Jashari also announced Scott's achievements in the Kosovo Army in line with the Comprehensive Transition Plan.
Gen Jashari also briefed him on the development of KSF capabilities in functional combat areas towards achieving full operational capacities, in the post of fulfilling the KSF mission”, the report said.
General Jashari also stressed the KSF's contribution to the international arena in maintaining peace and security, including KSF outlets abroad. The meeting discussed KSF support for Ukraine in line with NATO and member states' goals. General Jashari more specifically informed General Scott of the KSF's contribution to training Ukraine troops for combat duties in Operation “INT ERFLEX” and training of Ukraine's contingents in EOD. General Jashari expressed readiness for increased co-operation between KSF and KFOR”.
Scott commended Jashar for the job and engagement in the establishment and professional promotion of KSF.
“He also thanked General Jasharin for co-operation and constructiveity for preserving peace and security in the Republic of Kosovo. At the end of the meeting, the two generals agreed to further boost co-operation” in the future.
