The candidate for deputy from the Initiative, Xhevahire Izmaku, who in the February 9th elections ran with the number 9 election list AAK-Nisma-E90-Ideal... has reacted to the 7-hour break in the town of Vushtrri.
Izmaku has said that half of Vushtrri since morning, has been left without electricity, “creating a serious situation for families and businesses”.
“Reaction for 7-hour power cuts in Vushtrri. It is unacceptable that Vushtrri citizens are facing a power cut that has already lasted for more than 7 hours. Almost half of our city, since the morning, has been without electricity, creating a serious situation for families and businesses. In this winter period, when there are families dependent on electricity for heating, food preparation, and basic necessities, this absence is a heavy and unfair burden to citizens”, wrote Izzak, while demanding institutional response to providing energy for citizens.
“Such sites are unacceptable in a country that aspires to provide higher living standards for its citizens. I invite relevant institutions to intervene immediately and provide electricity supplies. I also ask the energy operator to explain the reasons for this long break and to present a concrete plan to avoid repeating such situations in the future”, Izmacus wrote away.
