The Israeli diplomat cited a case from Mitrovica, where a 95-year-old person had helped rescue Jews during World War II.

Ziv, has invited all Kosovars who have information on people who have saved Jews to contact the embassy.

In her interview, the ambassador also spoke of the book Macedonian Sun, written by Ephrat Baruch Altaraz. This book has recently been translated into Albanian and will be presented today during the memorial ceremony.
The author of the book, Ephrat Baruch Altaraz, said the book in Albanian is important to recognise and assess the role of Albanians and Kosovars in saving Jews during World War II. She said the book Macedonian Sun, deals with the confession of an 8-year-old girl who has fled from the camp in northern Macedonia and has fled to Kosovo.
