The release reportedly has only begun collecting information on the case.
“The investigators of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) will verify the circumstances of arrest and allegations of abuse by police in northern Mitrovica over an incident reported to have occurred on the evening of January 12th 2025 and allegations of mistreatment during the police action company in another case of an arrest in Leposaviqi”.
“Police Inspector on official duty (ex officio) has begun the process of collecting information and preliminary investigations over the circumstances of arrests of two citizens by police in these two cases”, the IPK report said.
