Haradinaj congratulates witness nephew Gazmend Mehmetaj after he was sworn in as a police officer: Thus blood is honored for freedom

Haradinaj said the new policeman is the grandson of witness Gazmend Mehmetaj, whose name he inherited.

Gazmend Mehmetaj '%Kurreli was part of the NLA's first cellulas, along with Shkelzen, Kadriun, Hashimi of many other fallen and living heroes. His ideal for freedom was repaid with blood, testified in the battle of Gllojan on 24 March 1998, side by Hime Haradinaj and Agron Mehmetaj.
Today, his nephew, who inherited the name Gazmend, was sworn in as a policeman of the Republic of Kosovo. Blood shed for freedom is honored.
