Elshani for the possibility of tensions in the north: Willing to Face Any Situation

Kosovo Police Deputy Director Veton Elshani has said the security situation in the country's north is calm, but delicate.

For warnings of tensions in the north, he has said he cannot be disfellowshipped, but as he has expressed, Kosovo Police are ready to react.

Elshani at Teve1 has said they are to provide services to citizens and that they are doing so.

The situation is quiet, delicate, we're enough cops in the north of the country, because we're to provide security to the citizens and that's what we're doing. We consider that we have enough numbers to react if necessary. We don't rule out any events that might happen, any protests, any possible attacks, but we are reacting in case they happen to”, Elshani said.

He has said that compared to 2022, the security situation in the north is evidently better.
