During patrols in the Plepa area, the effective detained the vehicle directed by the citizen with initial I. Y., for verification. Following the request to conduct the alcohol test, he offered $10,000, with the aim of avoiding testing and arrest.
The test conducted by police showed the 59-year-old man had an alcohol level of 0.06 mg/l, above the allowed rate.
At the conclusion of the procedure, citizen I. Y. Arrested for criminal acts “active corruption of those exercising public office” and “Autodirection”, as well as materials passed on to the Prosecutor for further actions.
