According to Europol, from an investigation involving Bulgaria, Colombia, Costa Rica and Panama, launched in June 2022, it was found that network members were citizens from Albania, Bulgaria, Colombia and Spain who organised trafficking in large quantities of cocaine from the country of origin in Europe.

Europol says that along with drug quantities, it seized 6.5m euros in cash, 35 vehicles, including 8 luxury cars (valued around 2.5m euros), luxury clocks and jewelry (appreciated around 1.5m euros) 48 weapons, and 53 bank accounts frozen in banks.
