Donald Trump is officially the 47th president of the United States after the oath at the ceremony held at the Capitol.
He swore that “would save and protect” U.S. Constitution.
I solemnly swear that I will serve faithfully at the Office of the President of the United States and will do my best to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States”, Trump said.
It is the first time since the 1890s that a president who was defeated in the election has returned victorious to take a second oath.
