He stayed in Gjilan side by side with Kosovo Justice Minister, while inspecting the prison, where 300 criminals expelled from Denmark would be sheltered as part of the government's solution to the lack of space in Danish prisons.
But a new document for the Legal Affairs Commission, which Danish media “Avisen Danmark” available, indicates the project has been postponed.

The SKK has also confirmed to “Avisen Danmark” that the project is not going according to plan.
Kosovo's “Correcting Service can confirm that the Kosovo construction project is currently facing delays”, the report said.
For Denmark to begin using prison, both buildings and staff must meet Danish standards. Therefore, cells must be renovated and new guest rooms created.
However, work is affected by some problems. The SKK has said it has not yet found the necessary TI technical and security advisers, as well as the recruiting of construction technical experts.
For these reasons, says the Danish newspaper, it is unclear when prison can be used.
So far, the Kosovo Correcting Service has called for a new deadline and is trying to reduce the delay by making its advisers available.
Justice Minister Hummelgaard said he is not surprised by the delay.
“We are violating a completely new terrain by sending criminals convicted criminals to Kosovo”, Hummelgaard said in a written reply.
However, he stresses that the project remains a top priority and that dialogue with the Kosovo government is continuing. /Klankosova. tv
