When the charge was set up, the brother of Lyridona Ademi: Waiting for Life in Prison for Indictees

The Kosovo prosecution has filed charges against suspects in the murder of Liridona Ademiaj, while the victim's brother, Leonard Ademiaj, has welcomed this step and stressing that family members expect a maximum sentence for the accused.

We as a family welcome the establishment of the indictment and ask that the court decide as soon as possible, because the sooner the better it is for us”, Leonard Ademiaj has declared.

We expect the sentence to be maximum for all three, they must receive the due sentence”, Ademiaj added, demanding eternal punishment for the authors.

Regarding the legal process, the family lawyer, Leutrim Syla, has stressed that the prosecution has been reserved and that, in addition to investigations in Kosovo, it has been worked abroad as well, realizing that the investigation could last.

As for the event, Leonard Ademiy confessed that there were no signs that his sister, Liridona, had problems with husband Naim Murseli, and that she was preparing to travel to Pristina.

“Motra had not presented any concern, and it was a huge shock to us”, he stressed, recalling the moment it was announced for the murder of Liridona.

Meanwhile, lawyer Leutrim Syla has explained that the murder was long prepared by Naim Museli, the chief defendant, and noted that, initially, after the case was treated as a robbery, investigations showed that the real goal was murder.

“It appears that Naim Muselli has long ago prepared this murder, even in the paper on the subject, notes that even with the other parties, even with the accused, has been prepared earlier... As it started as a case of robbery, and knowing the way the robbery was committed in Liridona's body had gold, and when they saw the elements doing the criminal work realized it had nothing to do with robbery but murder. From the very beginning, the goal was to kill”, has declared lawyer Syla.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has indicated that he has filed charges against four people in the murder of 30-year-old Liridona Ademiaj in November 2023, after the investigation ended.

The case prosecutor, Yavorka Prlinchevic, said she cannot provide much details about the indictment, but added that, during the time they lived in Sweden, Liridona and Naim had <x0) troubled marriage relations”, as a result of which property problems came.
