CEC Chairman: On 9 January, voting process will begin outside Kosovo

The Central Election Commission (KQZ) today has cast lots for the ranking of certified political subjects in the election ballot for the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament.
According to this draw, the Vetevendosje Movement in the February 9th elections will have the number 118, the Democratic Party of Kosovo on the ballot will have the number 131, the Democratic League of Kosovo will have 124, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, along with coalition partners, bearing the number 137, the Coalition for the Family will have 129 in the ballot.
During the ceremony, Central Election Commission Chairman Kreshnik Radoniqi has said everything has gone as planned and that the CEC according to him will continue with activities concerning the election campaign.
According to him, from January 9th citizens outside Kosovo who are registered could vote on their favourite subjects.
“Since mid-August, the Central Election Commission is holding intensive preparations for organising these elections, and so far many of the planned election activities have been conducted and others are under way. Even today's event is important as it precedes certain other election activities such as the adoption of design content and election balloting. After the CEC adopts the election balloting on January 9th, the voting process outside Kosovo will begin for registered voters to vote via mail, meanwhile, political subjects will officially start the” election campaign, he said.
