Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha has stated that the only reason he has not gone to see Ilir Meta in prison as he did with Ervin Salianj is only procedural.
Berisha, invited to the Now show at Euronews Albania, indicated he is interested in meeting Meta, but has told him he is in custody and no meetings are allowed.
I'd go 10 times to meet him, but these guys claim the detainees can't meet. These guys have told me, of course I'm interested, but I've been informed that he's in custody and don't allow meetings”, Berisha said.
