Commander Berdoniti has underlined KFOR's commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo.
“The commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, General Enrico Bardoni, met with Mrs. Viosa Osmani-Sadriu in KFOR's Staff, in Camp Film City, in Pristina. They exchanged opinions on the current situation and on co-operation between KFOR and institutions in Kosovo”.
“General-Major Bardoniti underlined KFOR's continued commitment to provide a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo, regardless of ethnic affiliation, gender, religion or political affiliation”, KFOR reports.
Berdonni has stressed that KFOR continues to implement its mandate, based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244, to contribute to a safe and secure environment while adding that it works in close co-ordination with Kosovo Police and EULEX.
“This meeting was part of the regular interactions of General Bardoni with his respective counterparts in Kosovo and throughout the region. KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union for Law Rule Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responseors”, KFOR reports.
