The Kadriaj Towers in Mitrovica, which resemble traditional towers, are a symbol of the resistance of Albanians in northern Mitrovica.
Behram has indicated that in 2008, Prime Minister Hashim Thaci had allocated millions of euros annually for the construction of Albanian homes in northern Mitrovica.
At the time, parallel structures and criminal gangs, but UNMIK has also made efforts to block and stop the works at Ali Kadri's tower. The institutions of the Government of Kosovo and Ali Kadri's resistance eventually produced positive results. Towers fixed.
“Thanks to former Prime Minister Thaci's support and insistence, today Ali Kadriu lives in his towers in the north, along with dozens of Albanians”, has written Behrami.
During the PDK government, 78 houses were built for Kosovo Albanians at Kroi of Vitakut.

Good morning.
in this writing of mine as Gazeta Express reporter for the first efforts of Thaci government 1 to rebuild the homes of Albanians in northern Mitrovica in 2008.
At that time, former Prime Minister Thaci had allocated millions of euros annually for the construction of Albanian homes!
I witnessed how the first employees of the house were former KLA soldiers, all armed.
Homes were then built under unimaginable circumstances.
Neither parallel structures, nor criminal gangs, nor UNMIK, nor KFOR had managed to stop these works!
Thanks to former Prime Minister Thaci's support and insistence, Ali Kadriu now lives in his towers in the north, along with dozens of Albanians!
