Albania signs energy deal with Italy, Emirates

The agreement aims to create an infrastructure that will enable the transport of renewable energy from Albania to Italy through an underwater cable in the Adriatic Sea, Reuters agency reports.

It is a trilateral agreement aimed at producing renewable energy in Albania and exporting it to Italy via underwater cable. He also added that this kind of infrastructure would connect Vlora's port with Italy's southern region, Puglia, the closest part in the countries, and is expected to last the project more than three years.
