The chief Democrat said that Saturday, February 8th, will be the day Albanians go down to the square against the government of Prime Minister Rama.
Berisha gave no further details on the hour and organisation of the protest.
All details and times of protest will be announced soon. But Saturday is the day when Albanians will land in Tirana, and Tirana will be filled with people in squares and field”, Berisha said.
Berisha stressed that this would be an extraordinary moment to express citizens' dissatisfaction with the government.
“The DP, which has long declared civil disobedience as the only way to stay on this government, invites the most powerful national protest Albania has known on Saturday to show complete disagreement with this handful of criminals who don't know no standards, who do everything for an opposition-free Albania, who thinks that the more you steal, the more you vote. Which thinks the more it humiliates Albanians, the more they vote, the more it scares Albanians, the more they vote. Albanians will stand up in a strong protest that Albania has never seen before. Therefore, I invite Albanian citizens on Saturday, February 8th, all Albania in Tirana and all Tirana in squares and streets against this regime that has done Albanians and Albania the biggest damage in their history”, Berisha said.
