Abdixhiku in Kacanik: This is where the LDK's big recovery begins

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) -- at the same time candidate for prime minister, Lumir Abdixhiku -- has visited the Kacanik municipality today.

Abdixhiku praised the historic importance of Kacanik in the journey of Kosovo towards freedom and independence.

He said that Kacanik remains a symbol of major decisions that have determined the future of the country.

We are gathered today in this historic city in Kacanik, where the great Albanian men, in difficult times, gave this country's people a major historic turn.
So this place where the most important story of Kosovo is written, where important decisions have been made about the very existence of our state, yes, remains inspiration and gives strength to all of us.

The wealth of this land, of this story, is the wealth of our people, and today, we continue to follow the bright path they opened for us.

And as the first institutional step of Kosovo's long process of freedom of independence was marked, here in Kacanik, just as the turning point for Kosovo's new history here began, so will the great recovery of LDK.” said Abdixhiku.
