Due to heavy fog, at Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari” have been cancelled about 50 flights in the last two days, while in some other cases there has been delays.
As a result, the number of citizens forced to wait long is not small.
Since the airport, dozens of flights have been canceled for two days.
“38 flights were cancelled yesterday. Some of them are designed at nearby airports. Four flights have been cancelled today. Visibility has been under 50 meters, so flight implementation” has been disabled.
Two weeks ago, Infrastructure Minister Lieburn Aliu indicated that Government has invested in an advanced system, where, in this case, it said, the cancellation of flights due to fog “remains history”.
While this Thursday following the annulment of dozens of flights, Aliu has said that pilot flights certified for the use of this system have successfully landed, while those flights without the necessary certificate have been canceled or diverted.
