On January 15th 1999, Serbian police forces, military and paramilitary units were introduced to this village of Shtime, killing 45 civilians.
A world, O mission chief The SEU, William Walker, having witnessed firsthand what he had seen after the massacre, had raised urgent concern over crimes against humanity that were occurring against Albanians in Kosovo.
