Distria Krasniqi has been proclaimed European champion at the European Championship, which is being held in Zagreb, Croatia.
After victory in the final, Krasniqi has praised coach Tony Kuka, calling him “Disi, the queen of Europe from my beloved Kosovo”.
European champion you're a white page for the rest of your life! Judo always and always for the Albanian people's state of affairs and sacrifice”, Kuka wrote.
On the other hand, he said Kosovo's Judo is the country's most powerful institution and called for this to never be forgotten.
