Citizens of the Republic of Northern Macedonia today between 7 and 19 will vote in the seventh consecutive elections for state president.
We remember that the first president, Kiro Gligorov, was elected to the parliamentary session on 27 January 1991, when Macedonia was established as an independent state.
For the Presidential Elections to be held today (24 April 2024), the total number of voters registered on the election list is 1,814,317.
The last presidential elections were held on 21 April and 5 May 2019, in which Stevo Pendarovski won 435.656 votes, or 53.59 per cent of the number of voters who came out and voted in the second circle.
He ran even in those elections, while next to him are Gordana Silljanovska, Stevco Jakimovski, Bujar Osmani, Biljana Vankovska, Arben Taravari and Maxim Dimitrievski. /Alsatm
