Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti welcomed today the co-director of the German SPD, Lars Klingbeil, and representatives of the German Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Foundation, after the meeting they had with party leaders as regional sisters of the European Party of Socialists (PES) in the northern Macedonia capital.
The prime minister welcomed Klingbeil for his first visit to Kosovo, Klan Kosova reports.
During the meeting, it was talked about recent developments in the country and the region, current issues, governance on social democratic values and principles, strong relations between Kosovo and Germany, and about the upcoming European elections in the spring.
“At the meeting attended by Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Hajrula Ceku, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Kreshnik Ahmeti, and senior representative of the V Movement Prime Minister Kurti announced it. Klingbeil for the results and achievements of current governance, with emphasis on universal social policies that have been introduced for the first time, such as the additions for young children and mothers, and other measures aimed at reshaping economic growth”, is said in the communique sent by the Prime Minister's Office.
The prime minister also expressed his gratitude for the SPD's continued co-operation and support for the state of Kosovo and democratic development.
