As prices drop in groups and subgroups of COICOP: fuel and lubricant for personal transport equipment (-8.5%); oil and fat (-7.8%); milk, cheese and eggs (-3,9%); and auto purchase (-2.1%), with a common impact of these subgroups (-1.0% on IHCK.
According to the AKS, the overall harmonised consumer prices index is higher at an average of 0.3% in January 2024, compared to December 2023. This is largely explained with the rise of consumption prices of COICOPI subgroups: vegetables (3.7%); milk, cheese and eggs (1.3%); as well as bread and cereal (0.9%), with a common impact of these subgroups 0.4% in IHCK. While the price decrease is noted at the subgroup: auto purchase (-1.3%), with an impact of (-0.1%) on IHCK.
