Defence Minister in Albania Pirro Ving suggested closing the US and Adriatic Initiative Ministerial Office that during the conference's work, <x0-> added attention” to the criminal attack on Zubin Potok a few days ago.

According to him, all countries condemned this “dangerous attacks on regional security and stability” and demanded bringing those responsible to justice.
Weng held a press conference along with US Assistant Secretary of Defence for Security Affairs, Celeste Wallander.
The ministers of the member states' defence and observation of the US Initiative ʹ the Adriatic Charter gathered in Tirana to discuss a series of important issues, which are laid out in the area of defence and security for the Western Balkans and beyond, broadcast albanianpost.
The institution's title called attention that the absolute priority for Albanian authorities remains Kosovo's membership in the Adriatic Charter.
“We had a convergence for re-intelligence of the Adriatic Charter by looking at regional dynamics, collective security challenges that in fact force us to try to relive the Adriatic Charter to advance open door policy to accept new members, and particularly Kosovo's membership remains for us absolute top priority”, Pirro Veng said.
While praising the importance of this forum, the defence minister expressed the American official's gratitude for the US government's invaluable commitment to political, security and defence developments in our country, but also in the entire Western Balkans region.
We were able to stop over complications in the strategic security environment on the European continent, including the Western Balkan region. We highlighted once again the survey of the Adriatic Charter and each member country, particularly the irreplaceable role of the United States in the region”, directed Veng in the joint statement, following the closure of the ministerial works.
The participating countries will also sign a joint declaration at the end of the ministerial.
The US-Folder Adriatic Initiative is a diplomatic initiative that includes the countries of the Western Balkans region and aims to strengthen the co-operation and integration of these countries, with the support of the United States of America in Euro-Atlantic structures, but also helps promote stability and economic development in this region.
Building the Situation
Eight persons arrested, arsenals of weapons and ammunition, explosives, uniforms and various military equipment have been confiscated, harsh international responses to convict the act, numerous police forces in the north, unscathed water as a result of this event, dozens of international news, a tense situation.
On the other hand, charges and counter-accuses between Kosovo and Serbia.
That was the summary of the situation created after the explosion at Zubin Potok.
On November 29th, about 7:00th, a powerful explosion in the village of Zubin Potok municipality damaged Iber-Lepenc's water channel, where several cities in the country are supplied with water, as well as the Kosovo Energy Corporation for cooling its thermoelectrics.
Although the damage was sanctioned to a large extent, Kosovo accused Serbia of attacking the country's critical infrastructure.
Serbia, meanwhile, denied having been involved in this attack until the international community condemned it in the harshest terms, demanding that the authors be brought to justice.
The explosion suffered casualties, yet material damage, according to Kosovo authorities, was huge, as Kosovo's critical infrastructure was hit and part of the country was threatened to remain without water and electricity.
