Svechla's ministry fails to elect ARC director, reason is ridiculous

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MPB) fails to select the executive director of the Civil Recording Agency (ARC).

The reason for the failure, according to the ministry's announcement, appears to be <x0bank>” the absence of a commission member.

In this position until the election of the new director, current director Blerim Camaj remains.

The report says the Unit for Human Resources Management has completed preliminary verification of candidates who have applied, where it found that eight candidates have met the terms and criteria of the competition for the position of director of the ARC.

The Kosovo government in the decision with No.02/25, date 21.10.2024, has appointed the ad hoc commission for professional evaluation for the high position of the ARC (committee) leadership category.

In 31.10.2024, it is intended to keep the candidates tested for this position.

At the time of the commission's meeting, before testing candidates begins, we are notified by a commission member that due to unplanned and high priority obligations for the ministry, he cannot participate, broadcast the indexline.

Under the legislation in effect, testing candidates had to take place by 05.11.2024 and with the presence of all commission members, but the upper member was officially out of the country all week.

According to the announcement, the Human Resources Management Unit has once again made an effort, inviting the commission regarding the continuation of the recruiting procedure for the position, but since commission members have hesitated because of legal deadlines.

NJBNJ is intended to take steps to complete this recruiting procedure to begin the new opening of the competition's publication, said among other things in the MPB's announcement.
