Commenting on the incident on the Iber-Lepenc channel, she stressed that those responsible should be brought to justice and expressed satisfaction that Kosovo authorities have launched investigations.
She has stressed that EULEX is monitoring the situation and will provide all support in line with its mandate.
“When it comes to Kosovo, we issued a statement from the high representative condemning terrorist attacks and welcomed the fact that Kosovo authorities are now investigating the issue. The authors must be brought to justice. As for EULEX, you know that since 2018, E ULEX no longer has an executive mandate to conduct the investigation, but EULEX monitors the situation and has been present during the raid and provided support. This is something EULEX and KFOR are doing within their mandate”, Hyper said.
She has announced that the EU High Representative's meeting with Kosovo and Serbia leaders will be held tomorrow.
Asked whether tomorrow's meeting of the top representative with the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia is part of the dialogue, Hyper said “takim is not part of the dialogue in the true sense of”.
She said both Serbia and Kosovo should show willingness to co-operate and contribute to the lighting of the case.
