Special Prosecutor's Invitement Warns Kurt Can Be Prisoned

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has received today's invitation from the Special Prosecutor of Kosovo to present himself to the Prosecutor in the quality of the witness.
The invitation is for December 16th, 9:30 at the Special Prosecution facility.
The criminal work Kurt has been invited as a Special Prosecutor's witness has to do with Article 214 of the Penal Code.
This article enters into the context of corruption criminal acts, more specifically, has to do with misuse of official position or authority.
The prosecution has explained to Kurt that if he refuses the invitation without reason, he will be forced to appear and may be fined up to 250 euros. If Kurt refuses to testify without legal justification, he could be fined up to 250 euros. If even after this fine refuses to testify, the Special Prosecutor has clarified Kurt can be imprisoned
According to the PSRK, in that case the detention will last until the witness -- in this case Prime Minister Kurti -- refuses to testify or his testimony becomes unnecessary, or until the procedure is completed, but not more than a month.
