According to the communiqué, during this meeting the two chief prosecutors discussed raising the level of co-operation, co-ordination and efficiency in the fight against crime and strengthening rule of law in both states.
Also, Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Blerim Isufaj and the head of the Special Prosecutor against Corruption and Organised Crime of the Republic of Albania (SPAK), Mr. Eric Duman also signed co-operation agreements on the creation of joint investigative teams made up of prosecutors of both relevant prosecutors. The aim of signing this agreement between the two leaders of the prosecution institutions envisions close co-operation and co-ordination of the two prosecutors' actions in key areas of the fight against crime affecting both countries' economic, financial and social interests. ”, said away in notification.
In addition, Chief Prosecutor Isufaj and the head of the Special Prosecutor, Daman, signed this agreement, have praised it as significant, stressing that this is a step towards improving security and rule of law in the two respective states, as well as building a strong partnership between the two institutions of justice.
