The release is said to be a vital service for newborn babies who need specialized and immediate medical care.
QKUK director Osman Hajdari's task officer, along with Dr. Ardian Shefkiun has seen closely the latest preparations being implemented by health staff.
To respond to the needs of neonatal transport, a special training for health staff has been organised and implemented to ensure a safe and efficient transport for babies in critical condition. With these advanced preparations and the high commitment of the health team, it is expected that the neonatal transport service will start tomorrow from the Neonatology Clinic, where transportation will be made for cases designated by regional hospitals”, the Kosovo Clinical Hospital and University Service reports.
According to SSKUK, this step represents an important achievement for the health system in Kosovo, increasing the quality of care for smaller and more sensitive patients.
