Scandal: Kosovo flag backwards at Svecla meeting in United Arab Emirates

Interior Minister Jalal Svecla has stayed in the United Arab Emirates (EBA), where he has held several meetings.

Among them was that of yesterday with Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Minister of this country, His Highness, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

But a scandal was recorded here.

Kosovo's delegation, much less the host, seems to have noticed that.

However, the agreement on mutual recognition of patents between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Arab Emirates was reached by this meeting.

Clankosova.tv has contacted the country's institutions, with the EPA MPJ, as well as with the ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to this country, Jabir Hamiti.

Until the report, we haven't received an answer.

By Kosovo State Symbols Use Law, the irregular setting of state symbols, is punishable as a crime.

Article 17 of the Law

Countervasive Sanctions

17.1. With a fine of 500 euro will be punished by the legal person in case:

1. a) uses coating or flag contrary to Article 3 of this law;
2. b uses the coat or the flag in shape or content that is not determined by this law as well as the legal provisions in power.
3. c) in public place expands old flag or coat, in irregular form, damaged or in some other way damaged;
4. d) does not use coating or flag when using is mandatory;
5. e) executing the anthem of the Republic of Kosovo in opposition to Article 6 of this law and legal provisions in power.

17.2 In violation of paragraph 1 of this article, fines will be pronounced from 250-500 euros to the officer responsible of the legal person.

17.3 For violations by paragraph 1 of this article will be pronounced fines of 250-500 euros to the responsible person in the state bodies.

17.4 With a fine of 150 euro will be punished by the physical person for violations by points a,b,c,d and this article.
