Russian Drons hit critical infrastructure in Ukraine's western Ternopil and Rivne regions during the night, Ukrainian air forces said on Tuesday.
The attack left part of the city of Ternopolil without electricity, his mayor said, a week after Moscow's attacks cut power in most of the city and the surrounding region.
“Power workers and rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the attack. Gather water, charge your phones”, Mayor Serhiy Nadal said on the telegram.
Ternopil extends about 220 kilometers east of Poland, a NATO member.
Russia organised two major attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure in November, causing power cuts across the country on the eve of winter.
Ukraine's Air Force said it dropped 22 of the 28 drones Russia fired at night. One fears “lost” and two others left Ukraine-controlled airspace, according to the statement.
Russia also attacked energy infrastructure in the Rivne region, Governor Oleksandr Koval said. There were no victims, he added.
The air defence was also active on the Kiev region at night, Ruslan Kravchenko said. The loss of waste damaged four residential houses, two cars and a garage, he added, Reuters wrote.
