Mehmeti, who had supported the defamatory news that RTK had published to Periscop and Nacionals, through a post in her Facebook account said she hoped “RTK will continue to strengthen itself as a reliable public medium, and remain steadfast in his mission to serve the public”.

Three-year mandate on RTK Board

After a significant three-year commitment as part of the Kosovo Radio Television Board, a journey that began as a board member, followed as deputy chairman and concluded with the position of the head of the RTK Board, I have had the privilege of contributing to several key initiatives and achievements that have affected the growth and development of this important public institution. Among the most important activities was my participation in the Audition Committee, which was first established in RTK. Then the drafting of the Audition Committee and the House Audit Unit, as well as supervision of finance, were important steps towards transparency and strengthening the institution's financial integrity.
I am grateful to the Kosovo Assembly deputies who entrusted me with this mandate.

RTK has been and remains an important pillar of fair and professional information in Kosovo. Although there have been challenges and attempts to weaken him, the institution remains steadfast thanks to his devoted employees, who love and respect their workplace. RTK as the only public thinker, is the duty of all to support and strengthen it by not allowing interventions that could violate its credibility.
In the hope that RTK will continue to strengthen as a reliable public medium, and remain steadfast in his mission to serve the public, promoting value, culture and independent information, I conclude this chapter with deep gratitude.
