The Special Prosecutor has forwarded a second invitation to Prime Minister Kurti's address on interviewing the quality of the witness, the government's spokesman, Koryeziu, has announced.
Kreyziu said about RTK that the prime minister's cabinet has responded to this invitation by reaffirming the prime minister's readiness to welcome prosecutors to his office for interview.
We have proposed three times for this appointment. One for today, two more times for next week. We expect a positive response since according to practice this would not be the first time a prime minister is interviewed within his office, and we welcome him to Prime Minister”, Kryeziu has said.
Prime Minister Kurt had been invited Monday by the Special Prosecutor to interview as witnesses but had not appeared, since he was on official visit abroad.
Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu has said Monday too that Prime Minister Kurti has voiced readiness to welcome the case prosecutors to his office in one day and hours agreed on by both sides to meet the request issued by the prosecution's invitation.
