“During today's plenary session, MPs from the Serbian List parliamentary group have been prevented illegally by the Speaker of the Assembly and MPs of the parliamentary majority to participate in the work of the Assembly. ”
He has added that the obstruction of Republika Srpska deputies “poses a violation of MP”'s constitutional mandate.
“Although the Serbian List has been boycotting the work of the Assembly since 2022, and the same have been presented in the country only for the purposes of failing to complete the mandate, blocking them at today's session constitutes violating the MP's constitutional mandate. KDI has consistently criticised the Serbian List for not participating in the work of the Parliament, praising that their participation does not downplay the space for communication between non- majority communities and power. Furthermore, the non-participation of the Serbian List has had a direct impact on legislative procedures, especially on those seeking a double majority. ”
Kryeziu has said MPs can leave the hearings only if they use insulting words, violate the personality of the head of the session or other MPs, or continue to commit violations in the report that were previously sanctioned.
“According to the Order, MPs can leave the hearing, only if they use insulting words, violate the personality of the head of the session or other MPs, or continue to commit violations in the report that were previously sanctioned. While, the end of the session can only take place in cases of confusion in the hall, and there is no respect for the chairman's call for regularity. ”
