Ramush Ahmetaj on Veterans Day: The Festival of Bringing Freedom

AAK deputy candidate, businessman Ramush Ahmetaj, has participated in the Veterani Day note, organised by AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj.

Ahmetaj has written in “Facebook” that this day reminds us of the sacrifice, commitment and contribution of veterans to bringing freedom and independence to the people of Kosovo.

“On this day on December 30th 1991 began confronting the Jashari family in Prekaz with Serb military forces, to continue several days later, even in the Haradinaj family in Glodjan, but also of many other KLA bases in Kosovo, these sites marking the beginning of KLA” military resistance, wrote Ahmetaj, who in the February 9th elections holds a 109th list of the AAK.

He has added that on this glorious day, he remembers heroes and all the others in the area of honor for Kosovo's freedom.

We thank AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj for his reception and high-value speech, then all veterans present at this party, Gazmend Sylen, Faton Klink for their valuable speeches, but also the leader of the DUI party in Macedonia Ali Ahmeti and his staff who had come to honour veterans on this day of great national value”, he wrote.

Ahmetaj, stressing that the values of the liberation war are national values, are Kosovo's freedom. With these values, freedom is significant, the state of Kosovo is powerful!”, Ahmetaj wrote.
