He has called on the rule bodies to deal with the case, while saying this act exposed Vetevendosje Movement.
Full response:
We condemn strongly and with deep indignation the behaviour of Vetevendosje Movement assist, Gezim Svechla, who vandalised the Communist Assembly Hall, desecrated the institution and challenging the basic principles of democracy.
This act is a brutal blow to our institutional values and an insult to the citizens who expect their representatives to protect and advance common interests, not to destroy what belongs to everyone.
For months, Vetevendosje asganists have been blocking any initiative for the better of citizens, including budget approval, in order to create cramps and block the delivery of vital services to citizens.
Today, Vetevendosje exposed itself, testifying that their real purpose was and remains: the desecration of institutions and the penalisation of citizens.
This behavior is a shameful act deserving of the condemnation of every citizen and of any democratic institution.
We ask law enforcement to deal with this case with maximum seriousness, both for the obstacle to the exercise of their constitutional duties and for damage to public property.
Institutions are not the battlefield of narrow political interests, but the basis on which the welfare of citizens rests. Such actions are not only unacceptable but also dangerous for our stability as democratic society.
