Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on behalf of the respective governments signed the Co-operation Agreement between Kosovo and Albania today for organising the 2030 Mediterranean Games.
As the Prime Minister's Office said with this agreement, the organisation of the sailing sport in Durres, the Republic of Albania, and simultaneously formalises Durres as one of the host cities of the Mediterranean Games 2030.
“Mediterranean Games Pristina 2030 will be the biggest sporting event in the country's history, which through investments will directly contribute to the improvement and advancement of sports infrastructure, while through hospitality in representation and international promotion of our republic”, the report said.
This agreement came after the joint assembly of two municipalities in the two states today in Pristina.
