Northern Macedonia police have held a series of police actions in several parts of the country in the past two days, including raids on former Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi's homes, and former Lottari Director Predari.

The prosecution added that authorities are also searching for six people, since they allegedly received action information before police were given the order to raid.
On the morning of December 16th, North Macedonia Police, under investigation into organised crime in State Lottery, continued raids on the homes of former Deputy Prime Minister Grubi and former director of Lottari, Purari.
The event concerns buying equipment for State Lottery, worth over 8m euros.
According to the Public Prosecutor, Grubi and Bajrami are suspected of criminal work, embezzlement in office, while four others for criminal acts are misusing the official position.
Of the evidence gathered, according to the Prosecutor, Progress Bajrami, as a person responsible for organising the games of fate, the State Lottery of Northern Macedonia, during 2023, along with Deputy Prime Minister Grubi, through the exercise of their particular competencies and duties, have participated in actions that have caused damages worth about 8m euros in the budget of the stock society.
Police have conducted raids at nine locations, in co-ordination with the public prosecutor and the court of preliminary procedure.
Grubi and Bajrami have not been present at locations controlled by police.
Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Hristian Mickoski said on Monday on TV21 that former Deputy Prime Minister Grubi, along with a businessman, went from northern Macedonia to Kosovo in a car Sunday.
Meanwhile, during Sunday day, Grubi announced that he is not gone but that he is abroad for a private visit.
I've traveled with my documents and my personal police security is reported. As soon as I'm done with my obligations, I'm going home to my family. Please don't slander and speculate”, Grubi wrote in a Facebook post.
Artan Grubi, after joining the American blacklist days ago, has also been attracted to political and public life.
Grubi has denied being involved in corruption.
On December 11th, the Skopje Prosecutor also announced that he has launched an investigation against Grubi, and judges of the Court of Appeals, Enver Bexhet, in order to prove, as he said, whether they have criminal responsibility, after the US State Department accused them of being “involved in high corruption and have accepted bribes to prevent” judicial processes related to Saso Mijalkov's sentence, former director of the Directorate for Security and Counterbulation (DSK).
Meanwhile, days ago, Mickoski warned that in the following period, “will have dozens of such cases”, thus referring to the police action under the nickname “Aditivial”, where dozens of people were arrested, among them former power leaders (EMV), North Macedonia Posts and (TEC) thermal power plants in Mansastir, Oslomej and Negotine.
They are suspected of misuse of the public call for procurement of fans, causing a 6.5m-euro damage.
