The raids were held in Varag in Zubin Potok, Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police for the Northern region Veton Elshani has announced.
“Checks are under way, around where the attack occurred. No prisoners. It's been controlled around”, Elshani said.
Kosovo police, yesterday, have arrested eight suspects and seized weapons, following a wide operation in the north over the explosion in Iber-Lepenci channel.
Police Director Gazmend Hoxha has said that significant amounts of explosives from 15-20kg were used during the attack on Iber-Lepenc. According to him, that on the basis of investigations so far “we are dealing with a well-organised group”.
Over 200 military uniforms, 6 zoos, 3 hand grenades, 2 AK47 guns, 1 pistols, ammunition of various calibres, fuses for explosive initiative, military helmets, masks, knives, money and other equipment.
While in a separate raid on Zvecan, police have confiscated significant quantities of weapons, 2 AK47, 3 pistols, 1 hunting gun, 2 missile weapons, 6 AK47 rounds, ammunition and military uniforms.
